Reset network adapter Windows

 

Here are a few things to confirm/check/try for the reported issue 


1. Run Windows adapter/network troubleshooter

  1. Press Win+I hotkey and let the Windows Settings appear.
  2. Click on the Update & Security section.
  3. In the left panel, Click the Troubleshoot option.
  4. Click on the Network Adapter option available under the Find and fix other problems.
  5. Click on the Run the troubleshooter.

OR

  1. Start search Troubleshoot 
  2. Click on the Network Adapter option available under the Find and fix other problems.
  3. Click on the Run the troubleshooter.

 

 

2. Reset TCP/IP, WINSOCK and flush DNS

Run Command Prompt as Administrator

  1. Type netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt then press Enter
  2. Type ipconfig /release then press Enter
  3. Type ipconfig /renew then press Enter

Restart the computer

If issue persist flush the DNS and reset WINSOCK

  1. Type ipconfig /flushdns then press enter
  2. Type netsh winsock reset then press enter

 

 

3.  Network Reset

1. Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Network & Internet  > Status > Network reset.

2. On the Network reset screen, select Reset now > Yes to confirm.

Wait for your PC to restart, and see if that fixes the problem.

Restore the old Context Menu in Windows 11

  1. Right-click the Start button and choose Windows Terminal.

  2. Copy the command from below, paste it into the Windows Terminal Window, and press enter.

    1. reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve

  3. Restart File Explorer or your computer for the changes to take effect.

  4. You would see the Legacy Right Click Context menu by default.
