Try upgrading video driver
Sep 30 2015 When launching AutoCAD 2016, the program suddenly stops loading
with no error or may show a message similar to the following: FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation
Reading 0x0018 Exception at 723ea3e3h

Causes: Incompatible graphics card driver. Enter the /nohardware switch to test
the behavior:
1.
Right-click the AutoCAD program icon
on your desktop
2.
Click "Properties"
3.
Access the "Shortcut" tab
4.
In the "Target" field,
after acad.exe" type a space and then /NOHARDWARE
5.
Click "OK" and start the
program
If this works to get
AutoCAD running, then update your graphics card driver and remove the
/NOHARDWARE switch. If it still fails to launch, you may need to
completely remove and reinstall your graphics driver and/or reset AutoCAD to
defaults (see How to reset AutoCAD to defaults). Alternatively, you
may re-enter the /nohardware switch and run AutoCAD without
